An emergency Management Committee meeting was called on Monday 5th June to deal with a particularly disgusting and nasty matter.
The race controller, Mr White, has received another vile, foul, abusive and anonymous letter through the post following the race from Cheltenham on Saturday 27th May.
The Letter was received on Thursday 1st June from a cowardly individual who did not have the courage to sign the letter but made a vile abusive attack on Mr White in the letter regarding the race.
The Officials and Management Committee of the Solway Federation want to make it clear to this disgusting individual, and all the members of the Federation, that they give their full and whole-hearted support to Mr White in his role as Federation Race Controller. The Committee unanimously agreed that if this individual is ever identified they will receive the severest possible penalties available to the Committee.
Mr White’s first reaction was to resign but has since reconsidered his position. I want to make it clear to all our members that personal attacks on any Federation Officials cannot and will not be tolerated.
Any Federation member with any grievance or complaint against the Solway Federation should follow the correct procedure and put their complaint in writing and send it to the Federation Secretary. Any complaints received will be dealt with by the Federation Management Committee
