Clock and marking stations

Federation races are usually race marked and clock set at the member’s individual clubs. There are however the following exceptions:

Old bird inland race from Marlborough – Race marked and clocks set at club level 2nd June 2017.

Old bird inland race from Portsmouth (Bedhampton) – Race marked at Springfield Homing Club 15th June 2017. Duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club. Clocks set at Eastriggs Social Club 16th June 2017.

Old bird open race from Falaise – Race marked at Springfield Homing Club 18th July 2017, Duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club. Clocks set at Eastriggs Social Club 20th July 2017.

For races duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club, Federation members not duplicated in SNFC race can set clocks at club level but club master timer must be struck with SNFC master timer.

Young Bird Open race from Stafford – Race marked at Springfield H.C. between 6pm and 7-30pm & Nith Valley R.P.C. between 5pm and 6-30pm, 9th September 2017. Central Race Marking and Clock Setting.

All one-day races close at midnight on the day of liberation. Any races that are over 250miles are two-day races, and these close at 11.30pm on the second day. The official hours of darkness are 11pm – 5am.

For races duplicated with Scottish National Flying Club race and clock rules of convoying organisation will apply.
