On behalf of the Solway Federation I offer my sincere congratulations to Willie Bothwick of Annan & District Homing Club on winning the Scottish National Flying Club Gold Cup race from Liege on Friday 29th June. The four year old Chequer Pied cock was timed at 17-04 to win what proved to be a very close and hard fought race on a very difficult day. A fantastic performance Willie very well done.
