As from today, 21st April, the Government (defra) have lifted bird gathering restrictions which allows us to commence racing.
The Scottish Government lifts travel restrictions into England as from Monday 26th April, which will allow Solway fanciers to train into England as from Monday.
The Solway Federation will commence our old bird programme from Shap on Saturday 1st May after prior consultation with our race controller Mr White.
An update will be issued on the website nearer to the date.
