Pools, Fees and Prizes

Membership Fees

The Federation has a Club Affiliation Fee and a Member Subscription Fee which are set each year at the Annual General Meeting. Fees are to be paid by the 1st of March each year. Details of this year's fees are listed below.
Club - £25 per club
Members - £20 per member

Hold Over Fee £1 per loft (payable in the event of a hold over)


Pools - Section and Open

The Federation has the following pools available for entry at open races. The pools allocation is one prize for every 20 entries.

5p. 10p. 20p. 30p, 40p, 50p, and £1 (Every 20 entries)
50p nomination - 1st 60% - 2nd 40%

Open races - nominations unlimited

A 5% administration fee is deducted from ALL pools


Entry Fees

Entry fees for birds are set each year by the Management Committee. The fees this year are as follows:

Birdage - 42p all races except duplicated races and Leicester YB Open.

2 inland races duplicated with S.N.F.C
Duplicated birds no Federation Charge, Non-duplicated birds S.N.F.C Charge

Old bird open - Duplicated with S.N.F.C.
Duplicated Birds 50p, Non-duplicated birds 50p + SNFC Charge

Leicester YB Open
42p per bird + (50p Optional Entry Fee for Federation Prize Money)


Prize Money - East and West Section

The Federation has prize money available for it's two open races. The prize money for the Old Bird Open race is paid as a percentage of the number of lofts in each section. The division of this year's prize money is detailed below:

Old bird open: - £450 paid on Percentage of Members in each section -

East Section - 61% = £275 - 20 prizes:

1st - £50 2nd - £40 3rd - £30 4th - £20 5th - £15
6th - £15 7th - £12 8th - £12 9th - £10 10th - £10
11th - £10 12th - £7 13th - £7 14th - £7 15th - £5
16th - £5 17th - £5 18th - £5 19th - £5 20th - £5

West Section - 39% = £175 - 15 prizes:

1st - £35 2nd - £25 3rd - £15 4th - £15 5th - £15
6th - £10 7th - £10 8th - £10 9th - £10 10th - £5
11th - £5 12th - £5 13th - £5 14th - £5 15th - £5
