Clock and Marking Stations

Federation races are usually race marked and clock set at the member's individual clubs. There are however the following exceptions:

First inland S.N.F.C. duplicated race - Race marked on the 7th June 2012 at Springfield Homing Club, Duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club. Clocks set at Eastriggs Social Club on the 8th June 2011.

Second inland S.N.F.C. duplicated race - Race marked on the 21st June 2012 at Springfield Homing Club, Duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club. Clocks set at Eastriggs Social Club on the 22nd June 2012.

Old bird open - Race marked on the 18th July 2012 at Springfield Homing Club, Duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club. Clocks set at Eastriggs Social Club on the 19th July 2012.

For races duplicated with the Scottish National Flying Club, Federation members not duplicated in SNFC race can set clocks at club level but club master timer must be struck with SNFC master timer.

Young Bird Open - Race marked on the 31st August 2012 at Springfield Homing Club and Dumfries Flying Club. Central Race Marking and Clock Setting.

All one-day races close at midnight on the day of liberation. Any races that are over 250miles are two-day races, and these close at 11.30pm on the second day. The official hours of darkness are 11pm - 5am.

The old bird race from Appleby will be race marked and clock set at club level on the 20th of April 2012. The race will take place on the 21st April. Appleby is a town in Cumbria. It is situated within a loop of the River Eden. Birds will be liberated from Fair Hill.
